Day 16 - Into the Highlands

Monday seems like a good day to drive up into the Highlands of Scotland.  Traffic was fairly light and the roads made me really wish I was driving my MINI.  As you can see below, the scenery was breathtaking.

The photos above are taken near Glen Coe.  From here we drove on towards Fort William and then onto Urquhart Castle near Inverness.  Yes, that's Loch Ness as a backdrop.  No sign of Nessie!
