Day 15 - Glasgow

If you do any online reading about getting about in Glasgow, the one overriding piece of advice is always, don't drive.  The one way street system in the city center is evidently very confusing.  We'd decided to keep things simple as it was Sunday and simply visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum so took the chance at driving.  Visiting on Sunday was a very good idea, traffic was very light which allowed us time to navigate the streets and not get in too many people's way.

The museum was fun and a nice relaxing place to visit on a Sunday.  All of us found some things that grabbed our attention and we spent a couple of hours looking about.

After the museum we drove South out of Glasgow toward Kilbarchan, Kilbirnie and onto Largs.  Barb's ancestors, the Orr family, are originally from this region.

We took a walk along the seafront in Largs and had a snack from one of the food huts there.  We drove back to our hotel by following the southern coast of the Firth of Clyde.
