We drove to Glastonbury where we had lunch before driving through Wells and onto Cheddar. We had planned on stopping here, but it was seriously overcrowded with few, if any, parking places available. Choosing not to join the coach loads of tourists swarming the small, quaint village we drove up through the gorge and onto Bath.
As we had arrived a little earlier than planned, we were able to tour the Roman baths located in the city center and enjoy a Cornish Pasty as a snack. Mmmmm.
Once checked into our guest house, we headed out for an excellent meal at The Bear pub just down the road.
