So here I sit in our local municipal arena watching our daughter at her figure skating practice. Outside it's a beautiful late Summer afternoon. In here it could be January with the exception of my shorts and tee-shirt.
Over the past few years Kyra has taken figure skating lessons throughout the Winter months, this year she's so keen to get back at it that we're taking part in the 'pre-season' warmup. It'll give her a chance to her legs back in shape ahead of the regular season.
Its been wonderful watching her grow and get better year over year, but today I sit here in complete awe of her as she seems to have picked up exactly where she left off in the Spring. I think its gonna be a good season.
